Weather or Not
I'm over at From the Write Angle today talking weather - and whether or not I'm a good enough writer to include some of it. I hope you'll pop on over and join the discussion! Any hints are MORE than welcome :)
Kathi - we have the same kind of worries when there's not enough snow. We had about 6 or 8 inches today and are expecting another 10 inches tonight - so I think we've got enough :)
I just came back from reading your post on winter weather. Never had that experience. But I'm very familiar with tornadic activity. Used to live in a town where we sat in the hall, under a mattress, while a tornado tore through the neighborhood. I will never forget the sound of it, or the small branch that flew through a window, down the hall, and landed under the matress on my lap! The new house had a storm shelter.
Well of course, I'll be seeing you. Do we ever sleep?
ReplyDeleteI've not really thought about weather - just take it for granted I suppose so maybe I ought to pay attention more!
ReplyDeleteTake care

Yvonne - Sleep??? I wish! :)
ReplyDeleteOld Kitty - I'm a bit nervous about writing it!
I'll stop by and say hello!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image, Jemi. The CA Sierras could use a bit of that white stuff. We have NO snow this year yet. Wish us luck.
ReplyDeleteGod that photo is so beautiful. But still, too cold for me :-(
ReplyDeleteCatch you there.
ReplyDeleteI'm headed over there....
ReplyDeleteStephen - thanks!
ReplyDeleteLee - it is gorgeous! We don't have more than a foot of snow so far. Hope you get to see some!
Agnes - It is so pretty, isn't it! I don't think you're alone feeling that way, but I'd find it hard to live without at least a little snow!
Linda - thanks!
Medeia - thank you :)
I'll be sure to stop by!
ReplyDeleteI've left you itinerary details for your trip to somewhere hot over in the comment section on FTWA.
ReplyDelete:D
Thanks Tiana!
ReplyDeleteJean - the details sound absolutely perfect to me! Now, where did I put that lottery ticket???
Popping over!
ReplyDeleteLydia & Talli - thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteCatch you up later.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Thanks Yvonne :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my query over at Matt's blog! Nice to meet you :)
ReplyDeleteSee you over there! :o)
ReplyDeleteAlexia - you're very welcome! Nice to meet you too :)
ReplyDeleteJackee - thanks! :)
Now that's a snow dump. We haven't had near enough this year and people are worried about water come summer.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the winter wonderland.

ReplyDeleteCatherine - thanks for visiting FTWA :)
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine the hell of living through a tornado like that. I'm glad you're okay - and I like the sound of a storm shelter!
Heading over.
ReplyDeleteSouthpaw - Thanks!
