Whale!

If you need a laugh, click on the video - it's under a minute. And it's Dory - speaking whale!

I could have posted the 'Just keep swimming' link instead, but this one cracks me up. Anyway, it's NaNo and I haven't been able to visit the bloggy-verse as much as I'd like. It's also been report card season -- which isn't nearly as much fun.

Don't you think the writers for these animated movies are brilliant? I do - the humour is priceless. And then the actors bring it to life. Hopefully our characters do the same for our dialogue.

Anyway, I felt like it was a good time for a smile and Dory/Ellen is always a great choice for that!

Which animated movie/character cracks you up or makes you smile?

I think watching Ellen doing that scene is even funnier (extras on the DVD). It is one of my favorite movies, too. Cracks me up every time!

Stacy - I haven't seen that! I'll definitely have to check it out - thanks for the tip! :)

Any of the slug scenes from "Flushed Away." "Poor, poor Roddy, flushed down his own potty..."

This is so fun. I still love the Genie from Aladdin :)

Alex - awesome! Poor, poor Roddy :)

Elisabeth - Robin Williams really rocks the Genie! He's so quick! Great choice :)

Hi Jemi,
Fy mod yn siarad Cymraeg, fel yng Nghymru, y Gymraeg :)

Translation, before you ask,

Hi Jemi,
I speak Welsh, as in Wales, Welsh.

Gary - I had to look twice at that sentence before I moved on. Then I was glad I'd put down the tea! I wonder how Dory would do with that kind of Wale talk :)

Love this! What a great movie - awfully hard to beat. Maybe Toy Story? Rex is awfully cute.

Thanks for the smile! :)

Jemi Fraser said...

VR - you're very welcome! We can all use an extra smile throughout the day!

And I LOVE Toy Story too. So hard to choose a favourite! Mr Potato Head is pretty cool too :)

Classic! Animation is just so clever these days. Mind boggling!

Dory is SO funny, yet such simple humor. I would have to go with Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb as he tries to take over the tri-state area!

My favorite Pixar movies are the Toy Story series--I love Tom Hanks as Woody.

Lol.

The Bugs Bunny characters always crack me up, although that's TV and not movie.

Oh man, I have to watch that movie again. For me it's the tiny things--the way her eye twitches at 'come baaack'! I think the writing is incredible--they do so much with so little.

Wendy - it really is! I'm always amazed at what they can do :)

JeMa - I love Dory. I've never seen Phineas & Ferb - but I'll trust you on that one! :)

Stephanie - I adore Toy Story. Hanks brings such a sweetness & innocence to the role!

Medeia - Bugs Bunny is a classic! He never fails to make me laugh too :)

Amie - they really are amazing! Those little details are what make Disney & Pixar movies so special!

Old Kitty - I love Dory & the whole Nemo movie - so much fun!

Thanks for the laugh this morning. That was cute. I'm way behind on my blog reading due to participating in NaNoWriMo and life in general. Behind on my word count, but will write again later so I can again change my word count on my blog.
