Spring?

They tell me it's Spring...

Still waiting for the proof.
It's -29 Celsius this morning. Brrrr!

How's your spring so far?

It will be cold this week, but the trees are blooming and there are definite signs of spring. Sorry you are still stuck in a deep freeze.

Look at that snow! Wow!! Oh I do hope spring arrives - we had such hope last week but this week, the temps have plummeted - but not as bad as what you're experiencing!

Take care

I think we are finally past the snow, but it's cold!

No snow like that here, but we are supposed to get some tonight. And it was 20 degrees this morning. So not spring-like!

That is a LOT of snow! We're back and forth between snow and really warm days. Tomorrow and Wednesday we'll be in the 60s. Not bad at all!

Ava Quinn said...

About the same as yours. I woke to 24 degrees fahrenheit, and they're calling for snow tomorrow. *sigh*

There are a few signs of spring around here. I hope it warms iup for both of us soon!

LOL. Our snow is gone until tomorrow when we're supposed to get a few inches. It was 22 here this morning.

Yikes! I thought we had it bad here with the cooler temps, but at least we can see the dead grass. Hope sunshine and warm weather head your way soon! :)

Looks amazing to me!

Brrr.

I didn't want to travel this spring break because my last spring break up north was dreary. I do think snow is pretty, though.

Alex - I'm so glad someone has blooms going on - there's hope!

Old Kitty - we've had our ups but the downs are taking their toll this year!

Diane - yay! It's been a nutty winter everywhere!

Stacy - not yet there either - hopefully soon!

Karen - I'll think of you and your weather often - that's got to help! :)

Cindy - that sounds like a perfect spring!

Ava - too bad! Hope spring is heading both our ways soon!

Susan - it just keeps coming back! Crazy stuff :)

Jamie - dead grass sounds great about now! :P

Kelly - it is beautiful and normally I don't mind - but it's hanging around soooo long this year!

Medeia - it IS pretty! And I normally like it - just not today :)

What a magical sight! I so wish it snowed where I live in New Zealand :(

But I guess if you have to live with it for endless periods of time, one would get tired of it. Yes?

I hear you! It was 12F on my way to work this morning, and snow predicted for Wednesday. Yay.

Jemi Fraser said...

Wendy - it is lovely but yes, we do get tired of it. Last year we only had 4 months with zero snow. Looks to be the same this year!

Marcy - I think I detect a hint of sarcasm in that Yay! :)

Thankfully we don't have the snow, but we're going to be cold the next few days and tomorrow night it's supposed to be around 28 degrees. I'm not sure spring is ever coming.

Jemi Fraser said...

Mason - me either! Ma Nature seems to have fallen asleep on the job this year!

5 F this morning. That's all I've got to say about that. Hang in there!

Jemi Fraser said...

Jeff - yup. It's hard! We're up to -6F this morning. Getting there!

Things have cooled down a bit in Los Angeles as we get into Spring. Today in the 60's and cloudy. Very comfy feeling.

Definitely cold here too.

Yup, we're still getting snow here, too. We don't have as much as in your picture, but we did earlier this winter. As soon as it melts... it comes right back. *sigh*

Jemi Fraser said...

Lee - the 60s sounds perfect right now! I love that temp range :)

Natalie - yes - your area would be pretty close to mine!

Shelley - I know! Just heard we're supposed to get another foot later this week! Hope it bypasses us!!

OMG! At the end of March! I'm certain I'm not looking at a photo of Texas :)

Jemi Fraser said...

Carol - nope! But I'd love to visit you in your Tiki Hut! :) We usually have snow at this time of year - but not this much!

Yikes! And I thought the little flurries in the midwest was a big deal!

Jemi Fraser said...

Clarissa - every area has it's ups and downs - this is currently a down :)

Hey Jemi,

After a winter without snow in England, spring has produced the first semblance of a snow fall.

Jemi Fraser said...

Gary - of course it has! How perfectly ironic! I do like having a season with snow - but I'd like it to be leaving now!!!

My spring has been mostly cold, but there have been some warms days, too. I have felt chilly with the wind and windchill- but compared to your picture and temperature- my weather is just fine! I hope you can see the grass soon!!

Jess - Thanks! We had another 4 inches overnight - wet sticky stuff too. But spring won't forget us completely ... I hope!
