X-Men

As a writer, my A to Z challenge is going to be about books, characters, TV shows and movies that have impacted me somehow. Enjoy! Be sure to check out Lee’s blog to find more bloggers taking on this challenge!
X-Men

I read comics when I was a kid – but mostly the Archie type series. Don’t know why I didn’t do the other kinds because I love all of their stories. So, I’d never heard of X-Men until the movie came out. Loved all the characters and their abilities. And of course having Patrick Stewart & Ian McKellen in it was a HUGE added bonus! Such great imagination and yet another story with many layers and many insights into humanity’s character.
Who’s your favourite X-Men character? Did you read comics as a kid?

I read a few X-Men, but they were Marvel and I'm a DC guy. (Which was Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, JLA, etc.)

Yvonne - thanks - comics are so fun!

PK - that's funny! And you're right - there aren't many X choices!

Old Kitty - Magneto really is an awesome character!!

The only experience I have with X-Men is begging my mom for a PEZ dispenser with an X-Men character on it when I was a little kid. I just thought the guy looked cool. :)

I liked comics. I read some of the Xmen but I was more into Spiderman.

Loved watching the movies, though. Favorites? That's a hard one... Patrick Stewart was great and I like Wolverine and love Storm.

I'm not a huge superhero fan (I know, I know) but if I could, I would be the cool blue lady.

I watched the cartoons with my kids so I knew who the Xmen were when the movies came out and like my kids, there's no one more interesting than Wolverine.

Hi Jemi! I read comic books as a kid. Had to share them with a younger brother and two younger sisters. I remember reading comics about Superman, Spiderman, Batman and lots of other action figures.

In the X-men movies, my favorite character is Wolverine.

My brother was always a HUGE comic fan so I kind of learned through Osmosis. His favorite back then was Wolverine. Mine was Kitty Pride. But my favorite movie was the last one. Xmen first class. Excellent!

I just have to say Wolverine is hot. That's all I have to say on the topic of X-Men. Hot, hot, hot.

I'm not even sure why I think he's a hotty. Maybe it's the look he gives.

Rrrrr!

:D

Jemi Fraser said...

Jean - he most definitely is hot! Those eyes are powerful weapons! :)

I grew up on Archie comics, the Phantom and my older brothers' war comics and their Zane Gray westerns. That's why I'm so well educated, lol.

Denise - I agree! You sure got an eclectic view of the world from those!! :P
